Suggestion to change the "process for adding new board members"

The "process for adding new board members" described at:

does not have a provision to inform a recommending board member about 
the fate of the recommendation.  When a nomination does not proceed to 
stage 3 (board feedback), some frustration could be avoided by informing 
the recommending board member.  A detailed explanation could introduce 
privacy concerns in addition to possibly skewing the process and having 
other consequences.  However, informing the board member of only the 
completion of the process, would be easy and remove doubts that the 
recommendation may have been forgotten, ignored, or that the process 
broke down.
