Kathleen Trimble (DHS) Voted in as CVE Board Member

Board Members,

A majority of the CVE Board Members voted in favor of the inclusion of Kathleen “Katie” Trimble (DHS) to the CVE Board. Because a majority has already been achieved, the voting process has officially ended before the 12/12 deadline. For those keeping score, this vote was definitely the fastest on record.

Based on the results of this vote, we would like to welcome Katie to the Board. She will be added to the list of Board members on the CVE web site and included in all Board list communications from this point forward. Last, thanks to all those who voted. Please let us know if there are any questions.

About Katie:

Katie Trimble serves as the Section Chief for the Cyber Threat and Risk Analysis (CTRA) – Vulnerability Management and Coordination (VMC) team. The VMC Team is comprised of the CVE Program, CERT-CC, NVD, ICS-CERT, and many federal staff. Katie is at the hub of government sponsored vulnerability management and coordination efforts, is highly knowledgeable in the field, and has a significant stake in the success of the CVE Program.
