---snip------------------Philippe Lemaire, an executive at CF6, Nanterre,
France, said computer security companies like CF6 are concerned about a
passage in the Council of Europe draft that would ban hacking software used
to test corporate computer security systems.
"That would present a big hurdle for us," Lemaire said. "If you can't do
these tests, you deprive companies of an important tool."
He said more and more hackers are already getting caught without any new
laws being passed or new technology being used to combat them.
